Story: “Vanilla”

...your searching eyes that seemed playfully coy were one of the things I loved, one aspect of our superficial love that was both the undercoat and the gloss on the deeper love of years.

I’m pleased to announce that my flash fiction piece “Vanilla” has been published in the “Aloe” anthology, edited by Samuel Best. The collection is described as “short stories and poetry written under lockdown in UK and Norther Ireland.”

“Vanilla” appears on page 23 of the free PDF, and a print copy of the book is also available to buy.
